Believe it or not, there are only one performances left in the Tuning the Air Spring Season. We have settled into the thriving arts community at the Fremont Abbey Arts Center. FAAC is a growing, vital and creative space, hosting performances of music, poetry and dance, as well as serving as the new home for the Fremont Music School, and we are very happy to be a part of it. Our “regulars” have declared that this is the best sounding room we have ever worked in. New material continues to work its way into the set, new interpretations and arrangements have emerged for much of the familiar material, as the production evolves.

Please join us soon.  Our final show is Monday, Monday, July 21.

Since early 2005, Seattle Circle's production, "Tuning the Air", has been performed regularly on Monday evenings in Ballard, Capitol Hill, and now in Fremont. In its fifth season, with over 120 performances to date, the show has delighted audiences with its evolving and unique 'in the round' theatrical presentation.

On Saturday July 12, members of Seattle Circle and the Tuning the Air performance company are bringing selections from the show to Nonsequitur in the gorgeous Chapel at the Good Shepherd Center. These intricate arrangements of lively and dancing rhythms, broad atmospheric gestures, familiar songs expanded into spatial experiences, intricate original compositions, and free-wheeling improvisation in the mix of tight ensemble playing.
